Have you all seen the short clip for tonight's episode? I just watched it from Ed Helm's interview with Jay Leno. I was already excited to see what's next but this made me even more excited! Skip to 3:50 for the clip: Haha....love James, love the bit, love it all. <3 |

Awe...hehe. It's supposed to be funny darlin! You must not like any of his movies where he's a bad guy. Those characters certainly weren't nice either...but, he still managed to sex them up and even add some humor. Robert California isn't really a "bad guy" but certainly a tough and intimidating character. Ya just gotta not take it so seriously.  Do feel free to post here if your opinion ever changes... though I do welcome all opinions! Anyway, I just posted some more gifs from The Office in the gif thread if anyone's interested. I find Robert interesting. I wonder how Erin enjoyed getting to kiss James! It was an okay episode. I do like that they had a vibrator as an incentive!
The type of humor that makes me laugh out loud the most is the kind featured in Borat, Team America, Superstar, and Austin Powers, etc. Many women are offended by these movies, esp. Borat! But I don't take anything seriously. It's just a movie.

^I thought the same thing about the kiss! I wonder if she finds James as sexy as we do.
I found this last episode very funny. I enjoy pretty much all types of humor. Austin Powers used to be my favorite movie! In fact Mike Myers was one of my very first celebrity crushes. ;D Borat is also in my DVD collection. Certainly not a movie for everyone, haha. But I guess I tend to like the things that are more "out there" and push the envelope.

I'm enjoying the Office so far, James Spader is awesome. Love is character Robert California.
Can't wait to see more episodes.

Nice to see another one who enjoys his character on the show. I'm surprised how quiet this thread has been. I could gush on and on...but it appears nobody else can!! New episode tomorrow...weee! Although I have to wait until every Friday morning, since I watch them on Hulu. I just love having something to look forward to. |

I loved The Incentive! For me it was a very solid episode that really helped to establish the new dynamics between the characters on the show. I think James' character will be fairly complex within the next few episodes...as Ed Helms said in an interview he is not a one-note character.

I too was very disappointed. If I am not wrong James doesn't appear in seven episodes, so the good news is there are just six left...

I have also wondered if they would make a Robert bobblehead. Someone gave me a Dwight one. They also gave me a Dunder-Mifflin snowglobe. I gave the bobblehead to my nephew.
