James is currently the only guest scheduled on Craig Ferguson next Wednesday. It sounds as if Craig is going to let him talk...let's hope so!

Holy yay!! Now if I can just get someone to record it for me as I have no TV. Lol. Surely it will show up on YouTube!

Just so there isn't any confusion he is listed for Wednesday night extended...early Thursday morning since the show starts after midnight. In all of the info for the show they refer to him being on Wednesday's show so I am glad to know what they mean.

Interview is getting close and I can feel my nervous system going all a quiver. Hard to believe it has been about 16 months since his last TV interview...that's a long time.

So what did you guys think?! I just barely watched it on Craig's website. This was me the whole time: ...lol. He is so adorable! It was SO nice to see him in an interview again. However short. I CAN'T WAIT to see him in The Office later. I'm glad his character will be wearing glasses from now on, too. I love James in his glasses. <3

James has gained a lot of weight, but he looked so darn cute! The combination of weight, the long hair, and his glasses will all help to distance him from the character of Alan Shore. I really enjoyed this interview; James seemed very relaxed with Craig.

I was way more excited about the Craig Ferguson appearance than I am about "The Office" tonight. For all that I love most of the characters that James has created in his career, I will always hold the happiest place in my heart for the man. I love his stories, his zany sense of humor, his drop dead gorgeous smile and laugh. I think he is always sexy and have absolutely no problem with his hair, his weight, his age, or what he wears. He was wonderful last night, from hugging Craig's crazy robot to playing along with the "awkward pause". And I'm thrilled to hear that he misses New York, because if he goes back there to perform, I'll be booking travel. Five minutes beside Jimmy on a sidewalk in Manhattan is heaven on earth.

^Awe, I love what you wrote orchidlover. Couldn't have said it better. I myself have been UBERLY excited about seeing him on The Office, particularly since I had just began watching the Office a few short months before discovering James and Boston Legal. So to have the opportunity to see him in another series after missing his last one...and to have it be a series I've grown to love...just feels like I hit the jackpot. Still, I too think I was more excited for that interview once I heard about it... and for all the reasons you listed. My excitement of course was intensified by it being my first time watching him in a CURRENT time frame. At the risk of sounding like a teeny bopper - I was literally squealing, squirming, and smiling ear to ear as I saw him enter the screen, and I fell in love with him all over again when he hugged Craig's robot. Haha. I just find his every move endearing. And yes, long hair or short hair, balding or not, skinny or fat -- as Craig so eloquently put it, I find him "wickedly attractive".

I'd also book a flight in a heartbeat if he ever does Broadway again! I was so happy to hear him go on about how he loved it and NY. Crossing my fingers that one day I'll get that chance at "heaven on earth". Until then, Robert California is going to rock The Office's socks.

Orchidlover and Amy...I totally agree, I love him no matter what package he comes in; he just has a charm that melts me. I too love love his interviews...it is the man I adore most of all.
